KUTKM has been recorded in the Malaysia Book of Records, Gold Edition - A Tribute to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, for the success in being the First Malaysian Robotic Interactive Programme. This endorsed and acknowledged Aini (Artificial Intelligent Neural-network Identity), the KUTKM Virtual Robot for the best of the best -feats that astonish and amaze, delight and amuse, as well as fuel national inspiration and motivation. A ceremony was held on on 4 December 2003 at Seri Negeri, Melaka to commemorate the enlistment of an Kolej Universiti Teknikal Kebangsaan Malaysia (KUTKM) into the Malaysia Book of Records.

Datuk Danny Ooi, the Managing Director of Malaysia Book of Records presented the certificate of recognition to the KUTKM's Rector, Datuk Professor Dr. Mohd. Ruddin Bin Ab. Ghani for the excellence in the Research and Development (R&D).


The Malaysia Book of Records
The Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) is a noble project of national interest that complements our former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad's call for the campaign, 'MALAYSIA BOLEH'.

As the National Record-Keeper, MBR is an official body that recognises record-holders, record breakers and record creators in the country. Upon confirmation of record, the MBR will issue certificates to them, as a recognition for their efforts.
